Self-Care for Parents and Guardians Course

This short online course covers ways to develop a self-care plan for parents and guardians of primary and secondary school students.

This 40 minute online workshop is aimed at parents and guardians of young people. It provides understanding and skills to help parents/guardians look after their own wellbeing while acting as that One Good Adult for a young person. It has been developed by Jigsaw, the National Centre for Youth Mental Health.

  • Recognise the importance of looking after your own wellbeing in your role as a parent
  • Be more aware of your own self-care needs
  • Be able to develop your own self-care plan.
